- 250 g. Frozen Bananas
- 3 tbsp. Carob Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon powder
I’ll keep today’s recipe short and sweet. This chocolate carob nice cream is made out of only 3 ingredients, but so creamy, chocolaty and delicious. Healthy, sugar-free, dairy-free, and caffeine-free!
I use carob because it is naturally sweeter than cacao. Carob also contains no caffeine and very high in calcium, which is important for a vegan diet! My 3-year old son loves carob in morning porridge and that is why I decided to use it for this carob chocolate nice cream recipe.
I freeze a banana in batches in Summer to be able to make a healthy ice-cream, aka nice cream any time! I recommend always have on hand some frozen bananas for quick and delicious summer recipes!
Cinnamon makes this carob chocolate nice cream taste a little more interesting, adds another layer of flavor and depth! If you don’t like cinnamon, feel free to leave it out as this nice cream tastes great on its own too!
